OK… First of all, this is not
meant to sound like I’m preaching anything to anyone… especially concerning anybody’s personal habits,
problems or addictions. And to be quite frank with all of you who are reading this, please know, every
“Heaven Sent Helper” (see Music Powers Book credits), who’s made contributions to the Music Powers
book, has at some point, had problems and issues dealing with people in this industry who use and/or abuse drugs.
And to speak out on this subject, might be viewed as being “politically incorrect”, and turn off some
readers. But do remember, this project was ALWAYS intended to help all of those who seek the truth
in the guidance of their music career… to help you succeed in this music game.
That being said… “PLEASE… STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS!”
If
you ever wanted to sabotage your career, mess up your finances, and put your health at serious risk… then
please be aware that taking drugs is one sure way to do all of those things – all at the same time.
Drugs will impair and distort your decision-making. And it’s the choices you make, that
will decide the outcome of all your opportunities in business, music, and life.
Now - some of you believe that drugs simply enhance a musician’s imaginative
thought process… opening up your creativity to another level.
But – the problem (of course), with this concept is… “If this is so, then you
may find yourself in bondage, being a slave to the drug anytime you need to be inspired (or feel good about working your inspiration
in the lab or on stage).” And this is a very sad situation, especially for the musician,
producer, songwriter, or artist that has a real gift to give this world.
See, not only are you disrespecting yourself with the idea that you can’t
be “on” without getting high… but also psychologically, because of the repetitiveness
involved with going through the motions to create, while being high, you end up “blowing-off” what was
probably... already deposited in you by God to begin with.
BUT - now you end up dependent on a “Back-Door” technique that you've
developed (over time), to get into the same “creative rooms” that you probably ...already had the
keys to - to begin with (before getting high)!
In other words, you end up with a drug habit! >> “Trick!”
<<
… You say, ya pimpin’ your beats and music, but the drugs
are pimpn’ you. So tell us... “So Who’s Pimpin’ Who?” …Pimp.
…Ya'll
be cool, and thanks for reading this,
